A Magic Day

As we are staying in Gurdwara you would expect to be woken up by morning prayer however, we didn't hear anything and slept really well. Soon after this the music started but it was not we expected. A marching school band passed by!

We went into the Langar hall and were given tea and sweet little balls.

Next we headed to find an old Mandir behind the Gurdwara. It turns out you needed a ticket from the other end of the fort to enter. It was quite far so we did sightseeing from the outside. We didn't need to go in.

Afterwards we headed to the opposite side of the fort and headed down. Through several large gates and down to the town. We passed a place where they had found the number zero and this was one of the first times ever!

We continued along the main road and purchased a large papaya. The stall holder sliced it for us and me demolished every piece except one. Christine dropped one! Further down the street a magician performed his tricks. We watched for a while to see if there was any involvement of a real snake but we didn't spot one, just rubber versions.

We visited 2 old tombs. One for Tansin, a famous musician and one for his teacher which was huge.

We met our friend next at the mall for a chat before heading downstairs for tea. After tea we caught the Gurdwara bus all the way to the fort.

We are in the special community hall before retiring to bed.
